Exhibition Design for WDCD

How can we define a temporary space as ‘ours’, and only for the time that we occupy this space? And how can we facilitate exhibition space, shop space and entrance desks?

Custom steel frame work 

To answer these questions we came up with minimalistic steel frames for the annual conference What Design Can Do to use in various set ups. On its side it can function as a bar, flat on the floor as a  presentation table and upright as a wall. With a simple mechanism lightweight fabric can easily be stretched in the frames so it can be used as a divider or optical wall. All frames are designed so they can slide into one another to minimize storage space in between events. And of course we chose bright yellow as that is the brand color of What Design Can Do.
